Auditions are underway for American Idol Season 11. As far as we know a third judge has not yet been selected. If the third judge has been selected the producers have not yet announced who it is.
We know for sure that Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler are definitely in it to win it. Randy Jackson seems certain that there will be no changes in the judges panel for Season 11.
Rumor has it that Jennifer Lopez is returning to American Idol despite her other projects and attending to her personal affairs. A spokesperson for Jennifer Lopez has not confirmed this rumor. As an American Idol Season 10 judge Lopez received an increase in compensation and is supposedly negotiating yet another increase in millions.
FOX recently declined to confirm or deny the singer's return. In addition, the producers previously commented that Jennifer Lopez's presence DID NOT increase the show's ratings. Can American Idol afford to lose Jennifer Lopez? Or will American Idol dance to Jennifer Lopez's tune of $20,000,000 to keep the singer as a Season 11 judge?
